The composer about the piece: In "Forward March" I have chosen a well-used form for this type of march. The piece
 is made up of introduction, A-part, B-part and trio. The traditional repetitions are also included. Tonal language and the use of rhythmic cells will then vitalize this form. "Forward March" is dedicated to the Norwegian Armed Forces Music Corps.
