20 Feb FESTIVAL COMPOSER AT ROSENDAL CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVA

The program for the Rosendal Chamber Music Festival 2025 is out. I am very happy to participate as the festival composer. There will be a wonderful presentation of my chamber music spread across the concerts throughout the festival, featuring three world premieres and several other works. A huge thank you to Leif Ove Andsnes and the Rosendal Chamber Music Festival for including my music in this year's festival! The news that this will be the last time the festival is held brings a sense of melancholy, but also immense gratitude for the incredibly impressive effort that Leif Ove and his supporters have put into creating such a renowned and important platform for chamber music. Works and artists featured in my performances: Daniel Sæther and Ensemble C4 will premiere three Tilstandar – spring, summer, and autumn – with texts by Ruth Lillegraven, Erlend Nødtvedt, and Terje Tørrisplass. The string quartet Opus13 will perform Bumerang. Hilde Haraldsen Sveen, Ragnhild Gudbrandsen, and Knut Christian Jansson will perform Skråblikk på Haugtussa, with text by Arne Garborg. Knut Christian will also perform excerpts from 20 Blikk på Opus 54, which reflects on Edvard Grieg’s Lyric Pieces, Op. 54.
