24 mai STIKK INNOM 50 ÅR – JUBILUMSKONSERT

Fredag 24. mai kl 14 er det 50 års jubileumskonsert for Stikk innom i Grieghallens foajé i samarbeid mellom Griegakademiet og Festspillene i Bergen. Har mange gode minner frå desse konsertane frå studietida på “Konsen”. Glad for at eg blei spurt om å bidra med eit innslag.

Ensemble Eon, Mara Haugen, Martha Berit Belt og Morten Norheim, urframfører “Preludium alumni” som er ein forsmak på eit større prosjekt basert på komprovisasjon, som er ein metode for komposisjon gjennom improvisasjon, utvikla på eit forskningsprosjekt på Griegakademiet saman med bl.a. John Ehde, Einar Røttingen og Ricardo Odriozola (link til presentasjon av forskningsprosjektet under). Friday, May 24 at 2 PM, there will be a 50th anniversary concert for Stikk innom in the foyer of Grieghallen, in collaboration between the Grieg Academy and the Bergen International Festival. I have many fond memories of these concerts from my student days at the ‘Konsen’. I’m glad to have been asked to contribute a performance. Ensemble Eon, Mara Haugen, Martha Berit Belt, and Morten Norheim, will premiere ‘Preludium alumni’, which is a preview of a larger project based on ‘comprovisation’—a method for composition through improvisation developed in a research project at the Grieg Academy together with, among others, John Ehde, Einar Røttingen, and Ricardo Odriozola (link to a presentation of this project below). I look forward to making music again with Berit Opheim and Signe Bakke, and the musicians in the ensemble. Sjur Hjeltnes will be the master of ceremonies.
